A Prayer in These Times of Conflict

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury- pardon;
where there is doubt-faith;
where there is darkness-light;
and where there is sadness -joy.

I'm ready to hibernate

I ended my summer run at Saturday Market on a upbeat successful note last week. Now I'm ready to settle in for cold, rainy days. Good, It's a chance for me to finish writing my little book of tarot and hopefully, do private readings for folks who prefer the cozy indoors.

I have been studying tarot readings for fifteen years and constantly amazed at how the cards speak to each client regardless of what I think they should say.

This is another subject of interest to me and no- the tarot is not the "devil's deck" but a vlid tool for divining our inner nature. Get over it. As I write my way through the deck watch out for some commentary on them from me.

Stay tuned.

A Voice of Reason Crying in the Wilderness

Finally, we have an intelligent discussion on TV about Terrorism, the influence of Saudi Arabia and the media. Unfortunately not enough people will hear this man or recognize the truth of his words. Spread the word.

There Must be Something in the Water

I knew kids and teenagers were capable of being mean spirited and insensitive but I thought adults outgrew that.

I guess not.

After reading his story all I can think of is has civility truly died? What the fuck were these cretins thinking?

Due to Budget Cuts the Light at the End of the Tunnel has Been Turned Off.

Once again Paul Krugman nails it. I wonder why he has never run for political office and that questioned is answered too. He's too smart.
