Changes Keep on Changing

    In my whole adult life it seems like nothing ever changed and I grew increasingly bored with it all. Well there's change alright but not what I expected.

    Change. It's happening before our eyes. Nothing is the same and yet. . . we desperately cling to our old ways. There is a Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times." I would amend that to "May you die in interesting times." We are dying and as most humans do, we pretend nothing is wrong in the hopes it will go away without having to change. Even I brushed off the threat.

    Look around folks, whole countries are ill prepared and denying a pandemic.  People are flocking to their religious centers begging God's mercy and make each other sick in the process. We have Mitch McConnell telling Governors if you don't bow to us, you get no funding and we'll confiscate the medical supplies you bought without our help. We have a President telling people to lay in the sun and inject disinfectant to cure themselves and the real madness is no one is stopping them. Real evil flourishs when good people do nothing.

    All the insane assurances from the sick madmen running the show will not halt the tide of change. Shit got real and Gaia-Mother Earth is pissed at our childish inability to take responsibility for our actions. She will be fine, she has managed five mass extinctions and will be manage fine without us.

   It's disheartening to see modern civilization end in a pathetic whimper. I was hoping for a different kind of wildness in my lifetime.

    A scene right out of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" you know, aliens arriving and everyone going ape shit. I was looking forward to scientists and the religious trying to wrap their heads around that. Aliens have wisely chosen to stay away from a species unable to contend with the power of a fucking bug.

    All my life I hoped something I said or did would give my life some measure. What a futile wish.

    People never change their world view, in fact we have people running backwards- did you know the earth is flat and the CIA is controlling our minds ( wear the tin foil hat, to protect yourself). Did you know that polio vaccines are a plot by the west to poison our children (it worked, polio is increasing in Pakistan). Did you know making money is more important than life itself? Did you know humans behave like complete idiots out of fear of reality?

     I have a theory as to why everyone is reacting so extreme. We know subconsciously the Earth is changing, but are afraid so we act out in fear. The stress level is so high it's interfering with our ability to think clearly and change direction. It's hard and we don't want to, but we must in order to move forward and regain motivation and creativity. 

     Since a voice of reason can not be heard over the sound and fury signifying nothing, I have no wisdom or knowledge to offer you. My words are written and scattered in the winds of change.
