I'm a Genius

The difference between a smart person and a dumb one is the smart one doesn't think they know enough and are always striving for more knowledge. The dumb one think they have reached the apex of intelligence and can stop.

Displaying ones knowledge is like someone who grew up poor and obtains wealth, buys a lavish house with chandeliers in every room and marble everywhere cause that's how rich people live right? Even Teyve in "Fiddler on the Roof" thought so. They announce their wealth with extravagance. The wiser one continues to live modestly.

"I'm a stable genius," tells us they are the opposite.

Now with social media the mediocre can claim to be experts when it's just nonsense they found on the internet. The Dunning- Kroger effect. A little bit of knowledge does not go a long way.

Knowing stuff doesn't make us wise. Wisdom is understanding there is always more to learn and how to apply that learning.

Don't squander your wealth on a fancy house, clothes or cars, that's wasteful.  Invest and pass it down quietly to the next generation who will be wiser for it.
