I went to my favorite bakery ”Sweet Life” the other day to indulge a little.
“I’d like a petite four.” I pointed to the small pastry in the shape of a cute bunny in the glass display and as the staff reached for it I wondered. . .
“Could you like put it in a mouse trap with it’s head crushed for effect?” I asked. Well you can imagine their reaction.
“You have sick sense of humor.” the tall woman behind the counter said pleasantly.
“Why thank you, that’s the nicest thing anyone has said to me." I do have an evil thought once a day.
It got me to thinking about a whole line of twisted pastry. Maybe a gingerbread man in a miniature Guillotine. Crushed road kill complete with tire marks. Let’s face it, pastry is way too cute. I'm sure some sick, creative types can find a way to kill time-and their diet- while the world comes to an end.
Now how can we make coffee weird?
